AThe day of arrival your payment form with be authorized for the full amount of your stay. All major credit cards are accepted. If you have reserved your room with a debit card and are paying with a debit card it will be authorized and a hold will be placed on the account for more than the total cost of the stay. The Best Western Sea Island Inn is not liable for overdraft fees. Cash may be used; however, a valid credit/debit card must be on file and subject to authorization. In any instance should a card be declined the Best Western Sea Island Inn can cancel your reservation. Festivals and special events are subject to different policies.
AThe Best Western Sea Island Inn has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 48-hours, you will forfeit one night’s cost of lodging. AThere is parking for one vehicle per guest room. If you are traveling with more than one vehicle, a larger vehicle such as an RV/boat with trailer or have specific parking needs, please call the hotel BEFORE you arrive so we can suggest alternative arrangements. Those who are parked onsite must have the approved parking pass displayed on their dashboard.
AWe want you to have the most comfortable experience. If you have a special request or would like to let us know about a milestone event you are celebrating while visiting, please call us directly to make that request. Not all requests are guaranteed but we will do our best to honor that.
AYour guestroom is guaranteed to be ready by 3PM. If you are in town before that, you are more than welcome to stop in to see if the room is available to check-in to. If it is not, we will register you, give you a parking pass and acquaint you with town. Requests for early check-in are not guaranteed. Check-out is by 11AM.Late check-outs are not available; however, we can help you with alternative arrangements. Each guest is given the opportunity for an express check-out if we have an email address on file.
AWe love having your four-legged friend at the Best Western Sea Island Inn. Do friendly rooms are available upon request in advance. A $30 per evening pet fee will be charged. For the safety of your dog, fellow guests, and staff we ask that your dog is not left unattended in your guestroom.
ALike you, we enjoy a good work-out. Our fitness room is newly renovated and WiFi is available. If you prefer a bike ride, we offer complimentary use of our bicycles. Just stop by the Front Desk and we will show you the best places to ride. If you are a runner, we share with you our favorite 5k routes.

Upon check-in a graduation Welcome packet is given to you with directions to the base, a schedule of events and suggested leave times.
Your new Marine’s name is highlighted in our local newspaper. Limited complimentary copies are available in the lobby.
Breakfast is served from 5:30AM to 9:30AM, Thursday and Friday mornings-giving you plenty of time to have breakfast and then hit the road to get to the base.
Parris Island is a quick 12-minute drive from our property.
Regretfully, we cannot offer late check-outs but you are welcome to come back to the property after graduation. We have public restrooms where you/your new Marine can change clothes before you hit the road. If you want to take a dip in the pool you can or park in our parking lot and go have lunch downtown- where many of the restaurants will serve your new Marine lunch for FREE!
